Wish I Would Have Bought It Sooner

I tried to hold out on purchasing the Nanit because I was trying to be frugal as a first-time mom on a budget, but honestly after using this product for just a few days I can safely say it is a must-have for any parent or caregiver.

The Nanit goes above and beyond, and to call it simply a “baby monitor” would be an understatement. While it definitely does help monitor a baby, it also collects and provides insights on their sleeping patterns/time, while also serving as a digital scrapbook of sorts since it records and compiles milestones for parents to reflect on.

It also provides an extra layer in easing this new mamas worry by incorporating a breathing band which will alert you if it senses anything is wrong with your baby. The app interface is very easy to use, and it was simple and quick to add on my husband so he could also get alerts and monitor the baby. We also paired our Nanit with the Nanit smart crib sheet for a total Nanit experience.

I really struggled with whether to get the wall mount, flex stand or floor stand, and am pleased I chose the floor stand since this makes it easy to move around our house or even travel with it. The floor stand base is substantial and I love how Nanit thought of safety every step of the way by enclosing any extra wire to reduce choking hazards.

In terms of aesthetics, I am super particular about how things “look” in my home since I love interior decorating, and the design is modern, minimal and not intrusive no matter what your decor style is.

Overall, I am thrilled with the ease of installation, the features the Nanit offers for peace of mind, the quality of the stand/video it records and the interface of the app itself. I’ve been much more productive at home because I feel at ease leaving my daughter to nap in her crib.
