Raddl Reviews
We’re very happy with it
We picked the Diono carseat because we were looking for a safe car seat with a narrow profile to fit three across and a cup holder. All the safety features are definitely an added bonus, we feel good about how protected our child will be! The car seat is definitely very heavy, but we don’t plan to move it around so it’s not a big deal. The install wasn’t too hard, and the seat seems comfortable for my 2.5 year old. Definitely an upgrade from our old safety 1st. Priced well and highly recommend.
P.S. Diono naming system is sooooo confusing. Could you please make it simpler to understand?

What comes in the box?
Radian® 3RXT® SafePlus™ Car Seat, Instruction Manual, SafeStop, Cup Holder, SafePlus™ Steel Anti-Rebound Bar, Harness Pads, Rear Facing Base, Lap Belt Cushion, Rear-Facing Top Tether Strap.
-
How do I know if the harness is adjusted correctly for my rear-facing child?
On all Radian® models including R-series and Q-series, the harness should be placed at or just below the child’s shoulder when they are rear-facing. The harness should be snug. You should not be able to pinch the webbing at your child's shoulders.
-
Do I need to use the harness pads?
Use of the harness pads are optional on seats made as of 2018 and forward. For seats made prior to 2018, their use is required when using the seat forward-facing, but still optional rear-facing.
-
How much space in the car do I need to fit 3-across?
51 inches (129.5 cm) is the minimum vehicle seat width needed between door handles (or other vehicle interior structures) to fit 3 Radian® models.
-
Is the rear-facing base inlcuded?
The rear-facing base is included with all of our Radian® all-in-one convertible car seats.
-
How can I tell if my child is too tall for sitting rear-facing?
A rear-facing child is too tall for the seat if any of the following are true: they are 44in or taller, there is 1 1/2in or less between the top of their head and the top of the seat shell.
-
How can I tell if my child is too tall for sitting forward-facing?
When in forward-facing mode a child is too tall for the seat if they are 57in or taller, the tops of their ears are higher than the seat shell, or their shoulders are touching the bottom of the adjustable head support at its highest position.
-
Can my child wear a thick or puffy coat when sitting in the car seat?
No. Thick clothing creates extra space between the harness and the child which is a safety hazard. We recommend removing the coat and harnessing your child in their seat. Then you can place their coat on backwards or use a blanket to keep them warm.
-
What comes in the box for newborn babies?
SafePlus™ 2-in-1 Infant Positioning Liner & Newborn Travel High Wedge.
-
Do Diono Radian car seats meet NHTSA standards?
Diono car seats and boosters are tested to meet or exceed Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) per the NHTSA.
